Laser Spine Surgery - Helping Thousands Find Back Pain Relief in 5 Days at Laser Spine…

Laser Spine Surgery - Helping Thousands Find Back Pain Relief in 5 Days at Laser Spine Institute

If you suffer from any sort of chronic back pain, whether it’s caused by a bulging disc, spinal stenosis, or another common condition, you’ll want to consider laser spine surgery. Not only is it often more effective than traditional back surgery, but it can also get you on the road to relief much faster. Most patients that get laser spine surgery at LSI are back to their normal activities in two weeks. More than 85% report improved quality of life within three months of the surgery. And, many have reported significant pain relief before they were even off the operating table. Traditional back surgery takes longer to relieve pain in most cases, and the recovery time can be long, arduous, and marked by pain and frequent visits to the doctor. But, laser spine surgery at LSI is different. It takes just 5 days from the initial consultation to discharge, and as mentioned, recovery is quick and less painful.

Here’s how it works:

  • Day 1: You’ll start the process with a complete physical at one of our surgery centers along with lab work, an EKG, and MRIs or X-Rays if needed.
  • Day 2: A surgeon will review your MRI with you, and you’ll discuss the surgery plan.
  • Day 3: An anesthesiologist will talk to you about the medicines they’ll administer during the surgery and what you should expect. The outpatient laser spine surgery is performed and after a few hours of recovery you are released for the day.
  • Day 4: A post-operative assessment is conducted and your physical therapy regimen is determined.
  • Day 5: Your surgery incision is evaluated and your final physical therapy session takes place. You are permanently discharged from LSI.

In addition to being faster and more effective that traditional surgery, laser surgery is also often safer. It has a reduced risk of infection, results in less scar tissue build-up, and only utilizes deep IV sedation and local anesthesia, which have less associated complications than general anesthesia.

If you’d like more information about laser spine surgery, contact LSI today. We’ll review your MRI or CT scan free of charge to determine whether or not we can help you.
